OFS Brands Awarded 2007 Technology Excellence Award

To be selected for this award, a company must demonstrate the commitment to succeed by innovating, re-educating, re-engineering and re-tooling. A company must have a vision to implement high technology, access to an excellent workforce, and maintain a ready supply of raw materials.

At its 20th annual awards dinner, WMIA’s marketing and committee chair, Dave Ortmayer, announced OFS Brands as winner of the award, recognizing them among companies who have achieved significant growth through a competitive edge by investing new technology and software systems. Hank Menke, OFS Brands’ president, credits the company’s employees for their ability to adapt to the rapidly changing customer values and for recognizing the importance of remaining at the forefront of new technology. 37% growth this year would not be possible without smart application of technology to allow for the speed and flexibility required to effectively deliver one piece flow and mass customization.
