What is the current lead-time?

How can I get a list price?
Each series on the OFS web site has pricing within each series.
Is there a price difference between veneer and laminate tops within a series?
No, these are the same list price.
What is the standard charge for ordering a factory grommet installed?
$52.00 list per grommet.
How do we indicate on the PO where we want the grommet to be installed?
Need to designate with an “M” in front of the item model number and supply a drawing, unless that particular series has a predetermined location options for grommets. If so, use that option identifier.
How are standard units keyed?
Everything in our line is keyed alike with lock number 345TA.
How do we specify a particular lock number for an item?
This information needs to be noted as a Tag Line for the item. We stock lock cores and keys from number 100-150.
Is there a specific fabric card for fabric tackboards?
No, you must contact your Customer Service Representative to verify if a fabric can be used on a fabric tackboard.
How does the Custom Finish Procedure work?
You must submit a sample of the finish that is to be matched, along with the Custom Finish Form, to your Customer Service Representative. They will then get the request processed through our Color Studio.
Is there a charge for a custom finish?
There is a charge at the time the furniture order is submitted. The charge is $150.00 Net per order.
Are the finishes used on the Casegoods match the Seating?
Yes, these finishes are used on both products, but the Seating is made from hardwoods, so the graining will not match the veneers of the Casegoods.
Which conference bases will work with a particular conference top?
There is a base selection guide in the OFS Conference Price List starting on page 90 or on the OFS web site under Meeting Room on page 32 of the price guide. This will assist in selecting the appropriate base for a particular top size.
How does AR12 or GO Express Programs work?
After receipt of a clean and credit accepted order, the product will be scheduled to arrive on or by the 12th day from day of acceptance. The orders must be marked as AR12 or GO and contain only those products and options that are on the designated program.
Shipping/Freight
Is freight included in the list price?
Freight is included if the order net is a minimum of $1000.00.
Is there a fuel surcharge?
Yes, we have a 1% of Net fuel surcharge.
Can we drop-ship direct to a customer?
Yes, if there is a dock or an area to unload, and someone there to unload the truck.
What is considered weekend delivery?
Any deliveries scheduled after 3 PM on Friday, any time on Saturday or Sunday. These may be scheduled for a fee.
Warranty/Replacement
What is the warranty?
OFS and First Office Casegoods, Conference, and Seating product are guaranteed to be free from defects in design, material, and workmanship, given normal use and proper care, for 12 years of single-shift service with some exceptions of components. Please see listing in front of each price list.
What is the Return Policy?
We do not have a Return Policy since the majority of our products are built-to- order. If it is determined by your Customer Service Representative that a product may be returned, there would be a restocking fee plus freight assigned to the return.
What do I do if I have defective or damaged product?
Please contact your local Sales Representative in regards to defective or damaged product. They will want to inspect the product.
Why is there a charge on my Replacement order?
All Replacement orders will be acknowledged with a charge. Either the defective product will be issued a RGA for return, or we will ask you to dispose of the product and will issue a credit against the Replacement order. Please contact your Customer Service Representative if you are unclear that a RGA has been issued.

How do I care for my product?

Wood Care - Dust frequently using a soft, damp, clean cloth, wiping with the grain. For a deeper cleaning, use a commercial no-wax liquid soap intended for wood furniture. Remove liquid spills immediately, using a blotting, rather than wiping motion. To polish, use Guardsman furniture polish applying a small amount to a soft dry cloth, wiping with the grain. Buff with a soft cloth (do not use silicone polishes). To prevent top surface damage, all accessories should have felt or fiber backing (no vinyl or plastic). Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity, extreme heat or cold, and moisture. Lubricate drawer suspensions every three to six months to maintain smooth drawer operation.
Laminate Care - Dust frequently with a soft, damp, clean cloth or mild detergent solution. Avoid using chemical or abrasive cleaning compounds. To avoid build up of cleaning agents, rinse the laminate surface with warm water and a clean damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity, extreme heat or cold, and moisture. Lubricate drawer suspensions every three to six months to maintain smooth drawer operation.
